Debo is growing rapidly in various sectors, such as floriculture and construction! We’re increasingly involved in exciting, long-term projects that add value for our clients. It’s not just about putting together a quick job and moving on—we regularly sit down together to discuss how we can meaningfully support one another.

About the role

Do you enjoy getting to the bottom of things? Not just implementing what you’re told, but actively collaborating with the client to figure out how we can design a system or feature so that it truly adds value? Not asking what needs to be built, but using the “why” as a starting point to arrive at a good solution. Sitting in the client’s office to experience their environment and make meaningful suggestions.

Then we might be looking for you! Our team is seeking a Product Owner—someone who can clearly identify what the customer wants and translate that into user stories so that developers can get to work on them.

Although it’s not officially part of a Product Owner’s responsibilities, we’re also looking for someone who is comfortable ensuring that a sprint runs as smoothly as possible—conducting a refinement meeting beforehand, overseeing the sprint planning, and leading a retrospective so that the next sprint can go just a little better.

We have a pretty good idea of how we can make our workflow more enjoyable—we just need a Product Owner! Does this sound like you? Please don't hesitate to contact us!

What we're asking for

What we're asking for

  • Three years or more of experience – We’re looking for someone who has a solid grasp of the fundamentals and understands when to apply certain principles—and when not to.
  • MBO+ / HBO level of work and thinking – A diploma is not required; we consider it more important that you think on your feet, reason logically, and pick up new things quickly.
  • A preference for face-to-face contact – In a world with more and more AI, the personal approach is becoming increasingly valued.
  • Secure Workflow – Taking the burden off our clients also means that nothing slips through the cracks. A 100% efficient workflow is unattainable, but how do we approach it while still keeping it fun?
  • Communicates well with both "clients" and "developers" – Translates client requests into clear tickets that you can work on together with the developers.
  • Familiar with Agile/Sprint – Both approaches are “suggestions”; every company does things differently, but they do offer stability and predictability and weren’t just made up on a whim.
  • Client Support – When onboarding a client, you explain our approach clearly. We prefer to work with clients on a long-term basis, offering proactive solutions and maintaining transparency, just like a partner.
